Island Adventure Kayaking offers the opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts to explore the coast of Assateague State Park. The rental location is only 10 minutes from Ocean City, Maryland. All kayak guests will be provided with proper instruction and safety equipment to explore the bay. Enjoy the freedom of kayaking with family, friends, or co-workers. Escape the crowded beaches of Ocean City to experience the best kept local secret. Paddling is a great form of exercise that increases the cardiovascular system and builds upper body strength for people of all ages.
This year we are very excited about our brand new fleet of Crescent Kayaks. The ultra padded, high back seats provide the most comfortable kayak trip in all of ocean city and Assateague. Island Adventure Kayaking is also thrilled about the new edition of our key west blue kayak shack.
Crabbing and fishing expeditions are available. Guests are encouraged to bring their own fishing rods and bait to enhance the experience. No bait? Not a problem...the Assateague State Park concession stand has a cooler stocked of bait for sale. In the first week of June, we had three kayakers discover 250 clams around Bird Island!
