Island Adventure Kayaking offered outdoor enthusiasts to the opportunity to explore the coast of Assateague State Park.  Kayak Steve, who started Island Adventure, moved South to be with his girlfriend, but still wanted Island Adventure's legacy to live on. SuperFun Eco Tours purchased Island Adventure from Steve and will be offering the same great services.  The rental location is only 10 minutes from Ocean City, Maryland.  All kayak guests will be provided with proper instruction and safety equipment to explore the bay.  Enjoy the freedom of kayaking with family, friends, or co-workers.  Escape the crowded beaches of Ocean City to experience the best kept local secret.  Paddling is a great form of exercise that increases the cardiovascular system and builds upper body strength for people of all ages. 

The 2012 season will include water sport activities such as kayak rentals, kayak tours, and stand up paddle boarding.  Stand up paddle boarding  is a new way to enjoy the bay of Assateague.  Learning a new skill is always exciting and stand up paddle boarding is very easy to learn.  SuperFun instructors provide brief lessons to make you feel more comfortable.  Ocean City is great but our bay at Assateague is perfect for beginners to learn in the shallow water area.  If you happen to fall off the paddle board, just stand up in the waist deep water and hop back on!

In the first week of June, we had three kayakers discover 250 clams around Bird Island!
